Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. I ordered the ribeye. It was grilled to perfection. Quite possibly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. It was delicious.

Terrific regional cuisine. A great place to go to get excellent steaks and pork chops. They are quite proud of their chicken-fried bacon but I found it to be an unimpressive flavor combination.

When the parking lot was full at 4:45 in the afternoon, I knew it was a good sign. I was impressed with the larger number of servers. It made service super fast. The servers were able to give excellent attention to their tables. The atmosphere was very family friendly. We had the chicken fried steak and chicken tenders. The batter on the steak was nice and thick but did not overpower the meat. The fried okra was excellent. This place understands how to do country comfort food the right way. I would go back again.

Due to our busy schedule we tend to get there an hour before they close and still get great service with a smile. The hostess and cashiers needs to be a bit more friendlier some are very rude and need some common courtesy pointers. Other than that everything else is superb.

Great food. Waitress we had was not very attentive. Saw a great waitress( older lady) serving guests near us. Wish we had her. It would have made the experience better.

Great Great GREAT. We got a table fast. 15 minutes on a saturday of a holiday weekend. The Tea is super good and comes in a large Mason jar. The portions are very large enough for a great left over meal. The food is really good. The staff is incredibly nice. We were even offered free sweet tea to go cups. 3 adults ate for under $50 including an $8 tip. Very good pricing in other words. Very very family oriented and easy to talk to your party. My husband recommends the M.O.P.

I usually got the M.O.P. here but today tried grilled chicken topped with bacon, jalapenos and monterey jack cheese, with a side of mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Great choice. Delicious as usual

Very good. Got the steak and enjoyed it. Well seasoned. Someone else got catfish and it was also good. Another person got a burger and want super impressed but still good.

Stopped by on a whim, fantastic food and great and attentive service. Food portions were huge and pricing was extremely reasonably priced. Very glad we stopped in, would highly recommend!

THIS PLACE IS JUST INCREDIBLE!!!I've been fortunate to come here twice on separate work visits. The staff are always friendly (the first time, they gave me a try of fried okra for free having overheard me asking my colleagues about it) and the food, oh the food...Definitely go when you are hungry, but the steak is just sublime. 5 stars feels like it's not enough.

Everyone in a six city radius talk about these Fried Pork Chops. Sides are good. I love their turnips too.

When I am in Bryan I try to fit this restaurant in my schedule. I like this place. Consistently above average food. Well managed. Runs like clockwork. Waitresses are down home and friendly. Food gets to my table hot. Nice!

Excellent food and atmosphere! Never heard of a chicken fried bacon appetizer before but it was so good! The steaks were well seasoned and cooked how we like them. Very small place though, we waited about 45min with nowhere to sit

This is a great steak house in Bryan area. It is a country style beef master steak house. They have a lot more options for both foods and drinks. The staffs are very nice and attentive. The place has some waiting but the service and hospitality worth the wait.

Aside from the wait we love going here. The food is always amazing and comes out fairly quickly. The staff is friendly and always checking on our drinks. I enjoy eating here

Took my family here for my ring day celebration. All of us enjoyed what we had, from chicken fried bacon, steak, meatloaf, to their delicious sweet tea. The waitress was very kind and the price was unbeatable.

Always great food and some of the best sweet tea in town.Great for small groups and we went as a group of 18 and were seated almost immediately.The staff are friendly and attentive to your needs and do everything possible to ensure you have a great experience.

The food is always good here, service is prompt and everything is fresh. Staff could use more training in social distancing, and disposable masks might be good. When you can smell their gum, they are too close.

We as usual had a great!!!!!! Lunch. Everytime we travel to Bryan,college station our truck just automatically turns into Sodolak,s restaurant. Don,t let the crowded parking lot scare you, the quality of the food and service will become a favorite for you too. They have got a knack for moving customer s through in an efficient manner. Love Sodalak’s sweet tea, chicken fried steak and their fried catfish. Never once have I had a bad meal here. The food gets me there, the hospitality keeps me coming back!

Nicole had me at, "Howdy ya'll... " This is my first time to dine here, but it won't be my last!!! The people here are so friendly and genuine. And the food... delicious, large portions, and very reasonably priced. It doesn't hurt that they are Christian, also ❤ God bless Sodolaks!!!

Holly was amazing! Kept making sure everything was good and was cracking jokes with my dad. The steaks are absolutely huge!! Not to mention you can even take home your drink in a jar for only 50c more!

You are ever in the Bryan or College Station area you must stop here. The service is amazingly nice and the food is even better. You've got to order the chicken fried steak or even their ribeye which is spectacular. I absolutely love their green beans coleslaw and even their other side dish items. Another must have would be the chicken fried bacon there is no other thing like it on the planet.
